One person is dead and four others are in critical condition after a shooting Wednesday night on the Northeast Side that wounded a 4-year-old girl. Police responded to reports of a shooting around 7:40 p.m. in the 6700 block of Windsor Hollow Drive , where they discovered five people inside a residence with gunshot wounds, according to KSAT . Three of the victims were under the age of 10, including a girl who was only 4 years old, according to a statement from Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar .
He believes that the victims were the intended targets due to text messages found between one of the victims and a suspect before the shooting. 'I'm working on the premise that whoever shot into the house knew there were kids,' he said. 'If God forbid ... one of those children should come to pass, that charge is easily going to be upgraded to capital murder.
