San Antonio businesses offering discounts for teachers, nurses

This is both Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurses Week , so San Antonio restaurants and retailers are reaching out to say 'thank you' to these often unsung heroes by offering discounts on food, sales and services. A few things to keep in mind: Most of these discounts require a valid ID — so don't forget your company badge. Most run through Friday, although a few extend through the weekend. If you don't see your favorite restaurant or retailer here, check their app.

Limit one redemption per guest, per day. 18658 IH 35N, Schertz Grimaldi's Coal Brick-Oven Pizzeria: Teachers and nurses will receive 15% off all dine-in and to-go orders. L&L Hawaiian Barbecue: Teachers and nurses will get 25% off any plate lunch at at six locations. Las Palapas: Nurses and teachers get 25% off all purchases at all 22 restaurant locations. Offer is good for one meal per ID.
