Long enamored with the cerebral aspects of football, San Antonio Brahmas center Alex Mollette first broke into the sport at middle linebacker. An understanding of the Xs and Os was always natural for Mollette, and a post in the middle of the defense leveraged his ability to break down opponents, knowing what was coming before the ball was snapped.

He hopes another standout year in a more talented league could position him for an NFL opportunity, adding to his undrafted free agent stint in Colts preseason camp in 2022 and his time with the Lions last season. “I’m just looking for the right fit,” Mollette said.
