The son of a TV producer Sam Haskell—who once served as an agent to a host of Hollywood stars—has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's dismembered torso was discovered in a Los Angeles dumpster.Samuel Haskell Jr., 35, was taken into custody on Wednesday after a man scavenging for recyclables found the woman's torso in Encino, approximately 5 miles from the suspect's Tarzana home. Haskell Jr.'s wife and in-laws are currently missing.
However, when police arrived at the scene, the bags had gone.The following morning, at around around 6:15 a.m., the woman's torso was found in the dumpster. According to police, video evidence and vehicle information led them to Haskell Jr.'s home, where it is said that officers discovered evidence of a crime, including the presence of blood.Haskell Jr., who Gutierrez said was arrested at the Westfield Topanga shopping mall in Canoga Park, was booked on one count of suspicion of murder.
