Dr. Angela Dunn, executive director of the Salt Lake County Health Department, briefs the public on May 23, 2022. The health department on Thursday announced the first confirmed case of measles in Salt Lake County since 2017.A Salt Lake County resident who traveled outside the U.S. has been diagnosed with measles — the first case confirmed in the county since 2017, the health department announced Thursday.
County health officials received a report of the person’s illness on Wednesday. They declined to share additional information about the infected person, citing medical privacy laws. “Being fully vaccinated against measles does more than just protect the person who receives the vaccination,” Dunn said. “It also protects their family and friends, including children who may be too young to be vaccinated, and it helps limit the spread of disease in the community.”

Ohhh, this should be fun. I had the great bad batch of measles vaccine in 1972. Caught it, 109° temp for 4 days in a row, ice baths, seizures, and the measles go all the way through you on the inside. All those anti vaccine believers. Measles is serious stuff
They have vaccines for measles.
What? They weren't vaccinated?!!
Totalitarian shrieks for forced vaccinations inbound. If patient 0 is once again a vaccinated person, they'll dissolve. If it isn't, they'll demand a law. Not a single unvaccinated person will be convinced by your shrieks of rage. Move to California & take the with you.
'The resident was not vaccinated against measles,'
OMG! Measels! You Liberals better get right on this, lest our economy start to recover!
