"Based on the patient's progress and current condition, the treating physicians believe that complete recovery is possible," said the statement."However it remains too early to gauge the potential long-term effects of his severe poisoning." Navalny fell violently ill on Aug. 20 while on a plane traveling from the Siberian city of Tomsk to Moscow. The plane made an emergency landing in the city of Omsk, where Navalny was hospitalized in critical condition.

The findings, which were later confirmed by scientists in Sweden and France, spurred German Chancellor Angela Merkel to demand that Russia explain how Navalny came to be poisoned. Russia's government has denied any role in Navalny's poisoning.

Putin the most powerful little guy in the world. PutinsPuppet

davidfolkenflik I’d probably take a LONG vacation after that experience

-- I'm just waiting for all these failed attempts at assassination via radioactive poisoning to give him superpowers.

Dang. Putin failed. It’s okay—at least he has the current president in the palm of his hand.

How nice of the Russians to try an kill him with a nerve agent that sucks at killing anyone, then fly his comatose body to Berlin so he could recover rather than 'finish the job'.

Poisoning, A Russian tradition going back as far as Rasputin. P.S. it didn't work on him either, they finally had to shoot him

So glad he is recovering. I’d be worried about his safety! Hoping he stays out of harms way. 🙏🏻

More than likely the CIA gave him some chemical they themselves created to induce a coma. They knew the Russians would panic for fear of him dying in their custody and release him to a European country. The Russian authorities did exactly that and provided an antidote.

Thrilled to hear it 🙌
