Why Texas is unlikely to let voters decide on abortion accessOne Texas Democrat is aiming to create a constitutional amendment that would stop future restrictions on abortion access. It would need to be approved by voters, though it’s unlikely it will ever reach ballots. Abortion is good issue against Republicans. Democrats should embrace that more. This is great. But since restrictions are now total, hard to see how there could be any more in the 'future.' 💔 All they need is 2/3 of the house and Senate, and 3/4 of the states to ratify. Good luck. I applaud them for trying to follow the process.
