It would've been unthinkable 12 months ago as the cruise industry reeled from the effects of Covid, but one operator is now offering an epic new voyage that will last nine months and take travelers to more than 150 destinations.
Upon leaving Miami on the world cruise in late 2023, the vessel is set to travel around the Caribbean, before scheduled stop offs in Central and South America, including trips to the Brazilian city of Rio de Janeiro and Argentina's Iguazu Falls. Travelers can book the full nine-month experience, or schedule a specific chunk of the trip and just join for the Americas and Antarctica, for example.
Thats the last place anyone who appreciates their life should be. But we know theres plenty who dont even care about their own lives sooo lol

Listen, I've enjoyed a couple cruises, but I'm *always* happy to leave after 5-9 days. 9 months sounds like very, very expensive torture. But if the uber wealthy want to remove themselves for a bit and get TF away from the rest of us, go for it, we won't miss you.

People don't realize. Cruises aren't inclusive. Everyday you spend. On specialty restaurants, excursions, at the casino, at the bar and at the spa. Its fun but pricey. I can't imagine how much you would spend after 9 months.
9 months? I see all sorts of issues with this event or plan. Is this for retired folks or rush people and if the folks are rich why would the do this. 9 months on a ship
My Lyft driver last week told me his brother-in-law recently went on a cruise where all passengers had to be vaccinated to board. His brother-in-law walked off the cruise ship ill and tested positive. He was still in hospital last week after being admitted weeks earlier.
I've heard this tale before...
