Though slain in the line of duty both officers live on as organ donors,I don’t remember when I initially did it, it was so long ago. So long ago that I checked the box.

Until early June when Meridian, Mississippi police officer Kennis Croom, who grew up in Alabama, was slain in the line of duty and it was revealed he was an organ, eye, and tissue donor. The good folks at the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency said one tissue donor may help 75 people. May heal. Seventy-five people. May save.
