A 17-year-old suspect has been arrested in connection with a mass shooting at Round Rock 's Juneteenth celebration that left two people dead and 14 injured, stemming from an argument between groups at the event. Round Rock police announced the arrest of 17-year-old Ricky Thompson III of Manor in connection to last weekend’s mass shooting at the city’s Juneteenth celebration.“I’m glad justice is going to be, you know, have the chance to do what it does,” said Sean Ardoin .
Ardoin, who headlined the Juneteenth celebration at Old Settler’s Park, says he was related to Vicknair. He says he’s happy to see an arrest made in connection to the shooting. “I’m glad that the investigation Is bearing results,” he said. “And we’re looking forward to see everybody who needs to be brought to justice.”Thursday after police announced the arrest.
