Ronna McDaniel, RNC chairwoman, faces calls for resignation after Tuesday's elections

“What, exactly, does Ronna McDaniel do, besides lose? The only thing she SHOULD do is RESIGN. Effective immediately,” former Fox News contributor Monica Crowley wrote on X Tuesday. The GOP didn’t do as well as the party expected Tuesday night. Democrats nabbed seats in states like Virginia and Ohio and red-state Kentucky, and they prevailed on left-leaning issues like marijuana and abortion in Ohio.“If Matt Gaetz can vacate Kevin McCarthy, I think it’s time for President Trump to vacate Ronna McDaniel,” the account DC Draino wrote on X Wednesday. “Only he has the power to do it at this point.

Another account posted an unflattering photo of Mrs. McDaniel with the text, “Fire Ronna Romney NOW,” written on it, calling her Romney familial roots to attention.Both political commentator John Solomon and former Trump advisor and podcaster Steve Bannon called for her to resign.“Ronna McDaniel has to go as GOP Chair! Replace her with @ScottPresler, who agrees???” one user wrote.
