Ron Howard to Direct Lang Lang Biopic

Ron Howard will direct a new, as-yet-untitled biopic on world-renowned pianist Lang Lang based on the memoirStuart Ford's AGC Studios is financing the new film, which Brian Grazer will produce through his and Howard's Imagine Entertainment shingle.Cesbron will act as executive producers on the film, together with Polygram Entertainment's Michele Anthony and David Blackman.

Incredible political statement from Lang through this decision: He wants nothing for or from his own people.

I get it and she’s not wrong. But, Lang Lang seems ok (and excited, frankly) about the news (per his statement, anyway).

She wasnt as vague as you are trying to make her ... she said point blank Ron Howard should not direct it. She didnt mention writers, producers, any cast or crew. Just Ron, so why defend her or try to backtrack what she did?
