Rob Lowe battles a wild snowstorm in a new clip from 9-1-1: Lone Star season 3. The actor first rose to prominence as a teenager with numerous films throughout the 1980s like The Outsiders, St. Elmo's Fire, About Last Night..., and Square Dance. Now, Lowe is perhaps best known for his roles in two hit NBC series, Sam Seaborn in the political drama The West Wing and Chris Traeger in the mockumentary sitcom Parks and Recreation.
Lowe's latest network television project is the Fox drama, 9-1-1: Lone Star, a spin-off of 9-1-1 from original series creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear. Focusing on the fire, police, and ambulance departments of a fictional company located in Austin, Texas, the procedural drama originally centered on Liv Tyler's paramedic captain Michelle Blake alongside Lowe's firefighter Owen Strand, though Tyler left the show ahead of season 2.
This foreboding clip is sure to increase anticipation for the season 3 premiere. However, the episode won't be all doom and gloom as a result of the deadly ice storm, as Judd and Grace will also be preparing for the birth of their first baby. The wait for the new season of 9-1-1: Lone Star is nearly over as it airs tonight on Fox at 8 p.m. ET/PT. .
