Republican National Committee officials outlined health and safety guidelines for the August convention in a letter to North Carolina's governor

Republican National Committee officials on Thursday evening issued a letter to North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper outlining health and safety guidelines for the Republican National Convention and requesting further guidance from state officials.

“The people who will visit the Charlotte region during the Convention, as well as the businesses and workers who will benefit are looking to you to set the rules and requirements for the RNC to hold a safe, secure event,” the letter reads.

“We have a governor who doesn’t want to open up the state,” Trump said on Tuesday, implying that Cooper was politicizing the event. “He’s been acting very, very slowly and suspiciously.”

Let them hold it, just lock them all in the convention center and quarantine the survivors for 14 days.

& MagaMasks?

The RNC maybe send a letter with the strictest guidelines, but that won't matter. Trump wants it filled to the brim, as many people as he can, no social distancing, nothing. Coronavirus be damned.

Will be interesting to see if the Governor plays politics
