Prospective staffers at the Republican National Committee have been asked during interviews if they believe the 2020 presidential election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.: former RNC general counsel Michael Whatley and Lara Trump, daughter-in-law of the former president. This leadership change sparked a personnel overhaul inside the RNC, with many staffers fired and given the opportunity to reapply for their positions.
