I worked in this store, and every time we would ask for security we were told 'it's not that bad'. The only person in the wrong here is Rite Aid. Maybe if they'd listen and cared about their employees we wouldn't have to defend ourselves in that store.

The shift manager enforced the law and defended herself after she had been attacked. Whoever fired her should be fired instead and the shift manager should be promoted. I will sign any petition to defend her & I am not going to buy anything at Rite Aid until she is restored back.

I am sorry-but I am on Rite Aid's side on this. Anyone who is in retail knows NOT to go after a shoplifter, or someone trying to rob your store. She should have called 911. She could have put her store into a liability/legal situation down the road.

I'm on the side of the manager here. While I think that the mask mandates are near worthless, if a business has one you have to obey it if you wish to shop there.
