While out to celebrate Singer’s birthday, McSweeney voiced concerns about the upcoming charity single by fellow housewife Luann de Lesseps. This didn’t go over well and led to a spat wherein Singer offered to plug McSweeney’s line. The comment came across as a dig towards McSweeney’s clothing line and its distinctive sweatshirts.
Televised disagreements are standard issue Bravo fare but rarely do they end with a celebrity clap back. In defense of her friend, Rihanna logged on to Instagram and updated with a selfie wearing one of McSweeney’s tees that read “bitch mob.” Accessorized with layers of gold chains and one of the furry bucket hats that have become the star’s summer signature, the tee looked phenomenal.
