This is child abuse by the US government. It is criminal & violation of basic human rights. I disagree with this policy, it must end now. Send these kids home. This administration must right this wrong & face consequences for this abuse!

Then they shouldn’t have put their children through this and followed the LAW in interning the USA they choose to break the law Americans didn’t how is it our fault? Send them all back

How many American moms in prison are separated from their kids. What did everybody want the gov to do build them apartments to stay in. As harsh as it was they knew it was against the LAW to be here ILLEGALLY

You misspelled criminal illegal aliens You realize knowingly putting children in harms way during illegal acts is indeed CHILD ABUSE! 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤡🤡🤡🤡

bannerite Unimaginable - scars will last years for these kids & their parents

America has lost its soul. It amazes me that folks can leave unsympathetic comments without a tinge of solidarity for woman's plight . This is America these days with no empathy just a sheer sence of self righteous indignation .

Note to all you crying Liberals ! Bill Clinton wrote the Policy, Obama enforced it! DoubleStandards

Then don’t come here illegally.

I spent a Sunday at California's largest immigrant detention center'With my own son safely tucked into bed, I could not sleep. I couldn’t stop thinking about what it would feel like: to see him just one hour a week, in a windowless group visiting room, before returning to a dorm-style prison.' (via latimesopinion) opinion Imagine if he was homeless or his parents were in prison and he was in foster care. He’s getting treated better than some American born children opinion opinion Don't illegally immigrate to a foreign country with a child after being repeatedly told not to. It is unpleasant and will go badly for you; as would happen under the same circumstances in every other country on the planet.

With or without criminal records, some immigrants spend many years in detention - Los Angeles TimesData obtained through a public records request by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse of Syracuse University provide a snapshot of ICE detainees around the country through June. 44,000 'illegal immigrants' are detained for being in the country 'illegally'? realDonaldTrump The majority, what does that mean? 51%? And 49% do have criminal convictions? By the way, they're detained because they broke the law by crossing the border illegally, they haven't been convicted yet. It’s pretty clear that real statistics are not the issue. A certain block of society doesn’t want them here at all. The DACA concept is a good idea, not because we want more, rather we need to facilitate a good solution for kids and then close the boarder as we focus on helping.
