Canadian retail tycoon Peter Nygard stepped down as chairman of his company after federal and local authorities raided the firm’s Manhattan offices as part of an investigation into sex-trafficking allegations against him.
A spokesman for Mr. Nygard announced the resignation Tuesday evening.
