The material mimics a real human tendon.

The new invention essentially serves as a bioreactor to grow human tissue.

But alas, these efforts have failed to produce tissue that can twist and stretch to the degree that real tissue can. That's why this team conceived of a new approach to this difficult task. To do this, they conceived of a fabricated joint that mimics a human shoulder made from a modified open-source robot developed by engineers at Devanthro. This system allowed for the addition of a bioreactor and a means to attach the new tissue as it grows.

Scientists grew living cells on a robot skeleton in this eerie experimentScientists managed to create a new tissue engineering concept that could make flexible cells growable, but they're still working on it. Not sure it’s appropriate to say the cells were “designed” to move, stretch or flex by this system. More like they were conditioned or subjected to flexing and stretching in ways that they can accommodate.

Scientists predict humans will land on an Asteroid by 2073, and Jupiter in 2103Rocket engineers at JPL have published a paper that predicts the first human space mission to the asteroid belt taking place within 50 years, provided humans reach Mars by 2038. Not sure too many people will be landing on Jupiter…. that 2103 is an odly specific date that makes me question the whole tweet Landing on Jupiter will be quite a trick. 😂😂
