Former E.U. Ambassador Gordon Sondland called the White House's bargain for an investigation an explicit 'quid pro quo' deal.

Additionally, the statute commonly cited would not likely apply to congressional witnesses.

Vindman testified during the House impeachment inquiry hearings that he"was concerned by the call" between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on July 25, in which Trump pressed for an inquiry into Joe Biden, then his chief rival in the 2020 presidential race. Although he neither found criminal wrongdoing with the president's actions against the witnesses nor found that they were otherwise unprecedented, Turley conceded that it was"wrong" to retaliate against them for their testimony.

Vindman was not trustworthy and Trump should have fired him and the other wimp ass Sindland too

Wtf

Not

Being reassigned is not a retaliation. He should have faced a Court Martial.

Morals and ethical behavior be damned.

Someone remind me: aren't the GOP the ones that lambasted Kaepernick7 for being anti-military? 🤔🤔🤔

Last I checked, retaliation against witnesses WAS ILLEGAL.

A President can't have back stabbers and traitors working for him. The President should fire all of these leftists!

Metaphorically speaking, Republicans left Vindman lying wounded on the battlefield, legal or not.

Trump hides behind his phone. Go face to face with these people. That's what BULLIES do.

Pentagon officially mum on Trump's suggestion Vindman could face disciplinary actionNEW: Statement from attorney for Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman: 'By using the power of his office to repeatedly humiliate and punish those following the law, the President is encouraging breaking the law.' Vindman went outside the Chain of Command. That is a violation of UCMJ Article 92. Since Vindman did NOT file a Article 138, which would have allowed him to bypass his IMMEDIATE chain of command with his complaints he is SOL . Go cry somewhere else. This guy should be ignored Trump wants to beat Ukraine in corruption. As in have MORE. Bigly.
