Leaders of the Secret Service and Homeland Security have been forced out, while the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services could be next.

As Donald Trump continues to oust high-ranking officials in the Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies, Senate Republicans are growing worried that the president will only make it more difficult for his administration to solve the country’s immigration crisis.

Last Friday, the White House announced that the president was withdrawing his nomination for Ronald Vitiello to run Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Trump’s reasoning for the withdrawal was that he wanted the agency to go in a “tougher direction.” Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles Grassley answers reporters' questions during a news conference about Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh in the Dirksen Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill August 2, 2018 in Washington, D.C. Grassley told The Washington Post that he is"very, very concerned" about the rapid-fire dismissal of several immigration officials.

And even though Trump issued a national emergency declaration earlier this year, sidestepping Congress in order to gain border security funding, little has been done to construct his long-promised border wall.

🗣 It’s because he’s breaking the law

ChuckGrassley Instead of jumping ship fight Trump. U will go down in history as a man of courage. Jumping ship after u voted for & gave Trump everything he wanted makes u a coward.

BREAKING: “Apparently, they just got over it per usual.”

How can you tell the Republicans are concerned? By their silence?

ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION use the term correctly ass wipes!

So far, Republicans have sat back and watched democracy erode and the office of the US presidency be debased by a mentally ill scammer. But, they’re concerned? Yeah. Right. TrumpCrimeFamily

Stephen Miller pressuring Trump officials amid immigration shakeups“There’s definitely a larger shakeup abreast being led by Stephen Miller and the staunch right wing within the administration,” said a person close to Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, who resigned Sunday I'm all for replacing the globalists with hard right nationalists, but DC is so corrupt and I am sure Trump is under a lot of pressure. Few people could give us greater insight into trump’s finances than this longtime aide who wrote his business emails for years. We need to finally hear from her. But if she’s another John Barron, she’s a bigger story - about EPIC press failure. So, they need someone more sinister than Nielsen? Ok then. 😳
