PORTLAND, OR - APRIL 23: Russell Westbrook #0 of the Oklahoma City Thunder stretches prior to a game against the Portland Trail Blazers before Game Five Round One of the 2019 NBA Playoffs on April 23, 2019 at the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon. NOTEThe NBA universe was turned upside down in the early morning hours of July 6th.
The fallout from this colossal deal will directly impact franchises from coast-to-coast. For starters, as of this moment, the NBA is as competitive and unpredictable as it has been in a very long time. One could make a valid argument that at least eight teams have a legitimate chance to win an NBA championship next year: Bucks, Lakers, Clippers, Sixers, Rockets, Nuggets, Jazz, Warriors. The Blazers and the re-tooled Celtics are also on the fringe of those top tiers.

Of course, the other option OKC was expected to consider would be trading away triple-double machine, and franchise foundation, Russell Westbrook.
I feel sorry for Westbrook. Everyone leaves him.
