Rep. Shelia Jackson-Lee, nonprofit host drive-thru baby formula giveaway in Third Ward amid shortage

“The first 12 months is so important for how they are going to develop and do in school, later in life and as adults,” she said. “If parents who are struggling and cannot get the formula or find it decide to mix their own concoction... there could be a problem with the minerals being unbalanced and the chemistry not being right.”

JacksonLeeTX18 Only time she does anything is 6 months leading up to needing votes. She hasn’t improved one thing in her district. Her family sure does get paid well through her campaigns though.

JacksonLeeTX18 While Ms Lee helps out, tedcruz has been busy making sure he can continue to reap in the lucrative corporate donations. I wonder - if his children still were on formula, would he have fled to Canada or Mexico again?

JacksonLeeTX18 What is it with the younger generation that rely solely on commercial companies to feed your infants. Back when, infants were fed a home made formula of evaporated milk,water and Karo Syrup together with strained baby foods.Cloth diapers are also much better for the environment.
