WASHINGTON—Illinois Republican Rep. Rodney Davis said Wednesday he tested positive for Covid-19, the 11th House lawmaker to contract the virus.
Mr. Davis said he has been taking his temperature twice daily during the pandemic and on Wednesday noticed it had spiked to 99 degrees, a higher-than-normal temperature for him. Mr. Davis said his wife is a cancer survivor and at higher risk for complications from the virus.
If the government can’t even contain this disease within its own party - how can they even protect the general public?
