A Muslim immigrant who is running to unseat"Squad" member Rep. Ilhan Omar called the Democratic lawmaker the"No. 1 antisemitic lawmaker in the United States" on Tuesday.

The Republican congressional hopeful said the people of Minneapolis do not support Hamas and that she traveled to Israel three days ago to show her support and solidarity for the U.S. ally. Al Aqidi is still in Israel. Omar has faced backlash in recent weeks for her calls for a ceasefire. The war in Israel, which began Oct. 7, has resulted in thousands of casualties on both sides.
