I cannot imagine what it is like to be a Muslim-American. However, IlhanMN's comments offend people especially this 9/11 family member. Apologize and move on. We should all acknowledged 9/11 was by radical terrorists not a whole race.

I would bet she is probably fed up with that kind of nonsense. People take what she says out of context. I understand what she means by how she felt after the attacks. People did treat all Muslins like they did something. The ones that did the attacks had different beliefs than her. Not all Muslins have the same beliefs. I’m sure she loves America the ones that did the attacks didn’t because of what they saw America do to their land in their minds. But those Muslins were Different. They came and exploited our weaknesses. They saw the weakness before we saw them.
