Rep. George Santos voluntarily steps down from House committee assignments

Santos made those comments during the GOP's weekly closed-door conference meeting Tuesday morning. Santos noted his presence was a distraction, those in the meeting said. He did not answer questions from NPR as he left the meeting.

On his way out. Bet the door hits him.

Finally an ounce of decency from a con artist.

Santos needs to recuse himself from ever again being in Congress 1 more hour.

'Voluntarily' ... yeah, right. McCarthy clearly finally took some action but put it on Santos to make a statement so the rabid mob doesn't go after him.

George Santos is ELECTED to SERVE his constituents. Recusing himself from committees deprives them of representation. Santos should SERVE as long as he is in office unless otherwise censured!
