GOP Rep. Christopher Collins of New York resigned ahead of an expected guilty plea on charges related to an insider-trading case

It wasn’t immediately clear exactly what charges Mr. Collins would plead guilty to this week. Earlier this month, the representative from upstate New York pleaded not guilty to a revised set of insider-trading charges, including conspiracy to commit securities fraud.

This guy is such a crooked little weasel. It’s of particular interest to me since the NY 27th is one of three districts that contain parts of metro Rochester where I live (it’s one of the peripheral ones with mostly rural area tho so it’s been GOP-held recently)
