Rep. Lauren Boebert , R-Colo., said that "it makes no difference" whether House Speaker Mike Johnson , R-La., or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries , D-N.Y., is speaker in light of the failure of Republicans to stall the Democrats' agenda.
For the past several weeks, Boebert's colleague Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has threatened to remove Johnson from his post over what she considers his failure to implement a conservative agenda. On Wednesday, Greene told reporters she would demand a vote next week on the motion to vacate that she filed March 22.
"If this vote fails and the whole conference, the whole Congress, supports the uniparty, let me tell you something: That is not a failure; it's a win for the American people, because that's a list of names," Greene said. "They deserve that list."
