There's one place you won't find Reneé Rapp, and that's on a dating app. The singer and “Mean Girls” musical star told actor Rachel Sennott on the new episode of the “Close Friends Only With Instagram“ podcast that she’s “never done a dating app” and that they terrify her. “It scares the s--- out of me,” Rapp said. “For some reason, I was never like, ‘Oh, that’s something I could do.’... I think of just Christian Mingle. I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s for elderly Christians.
” “It’s so vulnerable, on Instagram, you always have that out of, I just liked your photo,” the “Bottoms” actor said, sharing that when she flirts on Instagram she’s “giving nothing.” “I’m giving a follow and, like, one like,” she said. “And that’s like as much as it’s gonna go and then I’m like, ‘That was your T-up.’ So DM. But I feel like a follow feels pretty direct to me.” Elsewhere in their conversation, Rapp confirmed that she's working on a new album.
