At the end of April, a report from the International Energy Agency stated roughly 3 million new electric cars were registered last year,More recently on Monday, Wood Mackenzie said battery electric vehicles would become "the dominant form of road transport by 2050, accounting for 56% of all vehicle sales that year." By contrast, internal combustion engine vehicles will make up just 18% of sales, it added.
