An attorney says the one remaining wrongful death lawsuit filed after 10 people were killed during a deadly crowd crush at the 2021 Astroworld music festival has been settled.

The one remaining wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of 9-year-old Ezra Blount, the youngest person killed during the concert, after 10 people were killed during the deadly crowd crush at the 2021 Astroworld music festival has been settled, an attorney said Thursday, May 23, 2024.

“The family will continue its journey to heal, but never forget the joy that Ezra brought to everyone around him,” West said in an email.
