Faith-based leaders call for justice and peace as the jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial deliberates his fate.

The Congregations United to Serve Humanity, an interfaith coalition, gathered for a prayer vigil at Library Park, just a few blocks from where deliberations were taking place.

David Sinclair, a member of the coalition and the Milwaukee regional director of Wisconsin Faith Voices for Justice. “We also want to stand for peace and uplift the community.”Patrick Roberts, pastor at First Baptist Church, called for peace after the verdict.

The jury of Kenosha must deliver the veridic as if Rittenhouse was a black man being under trial! Because clearly the JD served as his defense… As people of color we need unite because our sons & daughters are modern days’ slave workers in the white men’ privately owned prisons!
