Frisco’s staff ranked third in the league in ERA , second in WHIP and third in batting average allowed . At different points this season, the Roughriders pitching staff this season included Leiter, Cole Ragans, who advanced to the majors, Owen White, Zak Kent, Mason Englert, Cody Bradford and Avery Weems, who was eventually moved to the bullpen.

Though they have struggled to produce homegrown talent over the last eight years, the Rangers are not overhauling pitching development. There is traditionally some level of turnover year to year. Andrews and rookie level pitching coach Jesus Delgado will not return, but minor league pitching coordinators Danny Clark and Jordan Tiegs are expected back.
