With a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, the RamsNFL are not taking any chances. Ticketmaster is reportedly limiting ticket sales to fans in Southern California

are hoping there will be fewer San Francisco 49er fans in the stands at SoFi Stadium for the NFC Championship Game next Sunday.

With a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, the Rams are not taking any chances. Ticketmaster is reportedly limiting ticket sales to fans in Southern California by monitoring residency based on credit card billing addresses. It was only a few weeks ago these two teams met at SoFi Stadium where a sea of Niners fans made their presence known. Rams coach Sean McVay said the"It did catch us off guard," McVay said."There was a lot of red there. That was definitely a surprise."

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford even had to go to a silent count, which is usually done by a road team to continue calling plays in a loud stadium. As for the game: Right now, the Rams are a 3.5 point favorite against the Niners.

RamsNFL '...not taking any chances...' at what?

RamsNFL The Rams were gone for 20 years and now hope that in the last 5-6 years, they gain back all the fans and attract new fans. For 20 years people in LA needed to attach to some NFL team. So the greater Los Angeles area did and the 49ers happen to be one of those teams.

RamsNFL I can’t get over how petty this makes the Rams and anyone that supports this look. So what, Dodgers fan aren’t allowed Oracle? Utterly ridiculous

RamsNFL Coaches always hate when opponents are provided with ammunition for the locker room poster-board. Nowadays it’s on Twitter, but, same effect.

RamsNFL That’s got to be illegal. Massive lawsuit coming

RamsNFL Easy pretend youre not a niner fan lmao

RamsNFL But keeping spots open for international investors no doubt

RamsNFL There are more 9r fans in LA than ram fans.good luck changing that.

RamsNFL Most of the “new” Rams fans are ex Chargers and Raiders fans.

RamsNFL Smart move. It’s the playoff

RamsNFL LMAOOO

RamsNFL You would think the Rams would have enough bandwagons by now 😂

RamsNFL The most important thing is that the L.A. County Health Director declares her Covid science scary messaging somehow doesn't apply to 70,000 people packed into SoFi. Science is amazing like that.

RamsNFL Pretty typical, the 49ners would do the same if they were hosting.

RamsNFL How many people up north have families in the LA area they can call to get them tickets? This is weak af.

RamsNFL Soft

RamsNFL Lmao weak af

RamsNFL Probably more 49er fans in Los Angeles than Ram fans anyway

LA Rams defeat Tampa Bay Buccaneers, SoFi Stadium to host NFC title gameSoFi Stadium will become the first stadium to host an NFL conference championship game and a Super Bowl in the same season after the Rams punched their ticket to next week's NFC championship game with a dramatic 30-27 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday in Tampa, Florida.

LA Rams ticket policy restricts SF 49ers fans from NFC Championship gameDespite all the excitement and enthusiasm, we may not see too many Niner fans in the stands on Sunday in Los Angeles. That's by design. Isn’t that a type of discrimination? You’d think that’s a lawsuit waiting to happen if you’re discriminating by location. Granted the game is in a week, but if you wanted to sue claiming discrimination that could play out for some time. But the fact they’re doing it…illegal? BEAT LA Secondary ticket markets like StubHub, GameTime, etc... don't care about any of that. This is a none story since other teams have tried the same ploy and it doesn't work.

Controversial restriction on 49ers-Rams tickets abruptly disappearsThe notice on Ticketmaster that restricted NFC Championship Game tickets to those with Los Angeles-area ZIP codes had abruptly and unceremoniously disappeared from the ticketing site’s website by Monday morning. Previously, a fan attempting to buy tickets would see a notice alerting them that 'Public sales to the game [...] will be restricted to residents of the Greater Los Angeles region,” and, “Residency will be based on credit card billing address at checkout.” This is a bit misleading because the restriction only applied to primary tickets (directly from Ticketmaster), which went on sale yesterday afternoon and are now sold out. Only secondary (resale) tickets are available now, which they weren’t limiting. larryelder
