Rami Malek on His Awkward Conversation With Kate Middleton About Her Kids: ‘She Was Taken Aback’

Rami Malek gave Jimmy Kimmel a candid account of what his 2019 meeting with Kate Middleton was like—and how she reacted to a personal question he asked her about being a new mom of three. Kate welcomed Prince Louis in April 2018.

Malek and Kate met at the 2019 BAFTAs while she was greeting a bunch of actors. Malek recalled to Kimmel, via“I just looked at Princess Kate at one point and I said, ‘This must be exhausting,’ and she said, ‘Why?’ And I said, ‘You just had a baby, right?’ She was taken aback, and she said, ‘How are you doing?’ And I said, ‘How are?’ And in the most regal, elegant way she gave me a look, but you can tell.
