Still finding himself in a bit of shock over fans’ deep devotion to the series spawned by the ’80s films that made him a star, Macchio prides himself onusing only threads from those films to tell the new stories; not using fan service as a crutch. And if the series can alter a few flaws in the films along the way, so much the better.in the past. Do you still feel that way or have you reexamined it after this season ofcame out.
going forward, clearly with season four. It gives us so much story. And what is so wonderful about doing theseries, the creators find ways to take that story and let it evolve and find backstories for characters who might have been thinly written..

If you watch old interviews with Ralph. He didn’t really seem bothered about another film. But look at what’s become of it now. I’ve loved karate kid forever and constantly using the wax on wax off etc to my kids 😂😬
