Queer As Folk Reboot Images Reveal First Look at Kim Cattrall Show

New images from the reboot of Queer As Folk show off stars Kim Cattrall and Juliette Lewis in action. Queer As Folk is now a long-running franchise that began its life as a 1999 British series created by Russell T. Davies. The original show followed the lives of a trio of gay men in Manchester, starring Aidan Gillen, Craig Kelly, and Charlie Hunnam. The original Queer As Folk, which ran for two seasons and 10 episodes, received an American remake in 2000.

Peacock has been developing a brand new iteration Queer As Folk, set to release on June 9, 2022. The show, which stars Devin Way, Fin Argus, Jesse James Keitel, Candace Grace, Johnny Sibilly, and Ryan O'Connell, will follow a group of friends in New Orleans who are rocked by a tragedy. Although the main ensemble is largely fresh faces, the recurring cast will feature some recognizable names, including America's Next Top Model and Dancing with the Stars champion Nyle DiMarco, St.

Both of Cattrall's photos are from Queer As Folk episode 7, titled"Problematica." Her character Brenda is described as a "martini-soaked, high society southern debutant with trailer park roots." She adopted Way's character Brodie, who is a"charming and sometimes chaotic commitment-phobe." Lewis' images cover a more broad swath, including episode 1,"Babylon," and episode 5,"Date With the People.

Both actors certainly seem to have been given the opportunity to show off their skills in the new Queer As Folk. Although they are not in the main cast, Cattrall and Lewis' characters are sure to play a major role in the lives of their children as the series explores issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community and families.
