Putin’s nuke threats aim to rattle ‘weak’ WH, ex-security adviser says

Russian President Vladimir Putin senses “weakness” in the Biden administration and is trying to “intimidate” western powers with threats of nuclear action as his Ukraine invasion drags on with no end in sight, a former top official says.

“He sees weakness in the White House. He has seen it before in [the US] not supplying Ukraine with the weapons that they asked for in a timely fashion,” he asserted. The former UN ambassador said Putin’s drastic new war measures amid a weakened military position — includingon joining Russia in occupied eastern Ukraine territories — give him less incentive to seek a diplomatic end to his conflict and save face with Russians who support the brutal conquest.

“[President Joe] Biden missed an opportunity this week to tell Putin … ‘Don’t talk about it. Don’t even think about it. You’ll pay a much higher price if you even do it.’“I don’t see the circumstances where Putin can admit that it’s time for a cease-fire with Russian troops losing ground as they have recently.”

Bolton is a dangerous and reckless war monger chicken hawk who’d send American soldiers to die for Israel if he could. He needs to retire from public life.
