A Monday statement from the community group La Mesa Boricua de Florida says the group filed a human resources complaint and wrote a letter to the Florida Department of Health.Nurse Mairyli Miranda says she and her coworkers speak in English with non-Spanish-speaking patients and staff but choose their native language to talk to one another.The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission states English-only rules may violate federal laws unless they are “justified by business necessity.

Bilingual is expensive. Pilots worldwide must speak English. It should be America's national language. Assimilate.

Our public schools are doing the same thing, and its Ass-BACKWARD. You don't teach people how to speak English...by speaking Spanish to them. More and more teaching jobs are Requiring that you speak Spanish....this is Discriminatory and WRONG.

Why do other ethnicities speak English? Imagine if everyone spoke their home countries language. I have so many friends parents that don’t speak English and they have lived here 30 years.
