DENVER — Protests demanding that the University of Colorado Denver divest from Israel entered their third day Saturday.
Saturday is the second day Khalid Hamu, with Students for a Democratic Society, woke up in a tent in the middle of campus. Hamu said he understands it’s a violation of campus policy, but said the tents are a part of their protest. “It was extremely sad,” Hamu said. “You know. I could even, I couldn’t even keep chanting. I was crying.”
