As Confederate statues are coming down across the nation, protesters in downtown Raleigh took it upon themselves to put a new plaque on a monument at the North Carolina capitol building.
The protesters told CNN affiliate WNCN on Thursday that the new insignia was inspired by George Floyd, and they believe it is a nonviolent way to update and change the meaning of the movement. Confederate statues are coming down following George Floyd's death. Everyone who really want to contribute to avoiding the deaths of people in clashes with the police, the first thing have to support is THE RESPECT AND OBEDIENCE TO THE ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS! Any different accion is just communist desestabilización!!

Yes, George Floyd is such an inspiration. He served 5 years in prison for putting a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach, served 8 other prison terms for drugs and theft, and was a porn actor. He died with fentanyl and meth in his system. What an inspiration!
