Protester with ax involved in clash at Michigan rally against stay-at-home orders

The governor defends her stay-at-home orders and explains why she believes some protests in her state are “racist and misogynistic.”Police broke up a fight involving a man with an ax in the middle of a rally against Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer'sA spokesman for the Michigan State Police Department said one of the attendees tried to take a sign out of another demonstrator's hand and a fight ensued among the crowd outside the state Capitol in Lansing.

A spokesman for the department said the investigation is ongoing and couldn't provide more details about the skirmish. A man is surrounded by police officers after a small scuffle during a protest against Governor Gretchen Whitmer's extended stay-at-home orders intended to slow the spread of the coronavirus disease at the Capitol building in Lansing, Mich., May 14, 2020.

The story doesn’t say who was carrying the ax...it does say the fight started when someone tried to take a sign from a protester, but it does not say whether the protester was carrying the ax, or the protester of the protester. Who was it? Lots of assumptions in this headline.
