Yes we need this. Create a safe place for them away from the businesses and homes and our children. Heaven knows we have lots of open land to relocate them to

We do not want to be california that would be really great

Im sure that if there were trash cans they would use them

Or…how about we make it so unpleasant for the homeless, they finally quit drugs, take a bath, get a job and rent an apartment like the rest of people.

Thankfully, with Hobbs we don't have to worry about this ever actually happening. How about instead of making things worse for the homeless, we act to help them instead? Novel idea, I know.

Lol this must be the covid refugees in charge. Liberals are disgusting

They should be required to provide help for the homeless, ffs... what a cop out

Great

Get them a place to live and jobs! Too much free time while other people has to work to make a living and their. Why?

What's there alternative. No one's willing to rent with a neg background check so expect them to live like this. I know homeless people with just a misdemeanor who gave up looking for a place because once your labeled you might as well keep being a criminal.

They need to pick up the derelicts and ship these able bodied lazy people back to CA

Thank heavens

How bout we make a plan on how to help the homeless first, yeah a lot of them messed up and got themselves there but they deserve a chance to live comfortably too.

Typical! Apathy creates a problem, and the only solution stays consistently the same, 'put them in cage.' Good old American values. We upstanding folk don't want to look at you human garbage; so, we're going to put you out of our sight.

Right. Clean up encampments. Charge with trespassing. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Here is an idea 💡 Why not take that 100 million AZGOP spent on storage containers at the boarder & help our homeless communities ? That actually might be something Christ would do.

The California blueprint. Use taxpayer money to create an industry out of homelessness. shame on you guys.

Sounds a little one sided, don’t you think?

When they find a place for them to go to, then they can crack down on them. Ducey did absolutely nothing to help curb homelessness, especially after COVID hit & people were forced out of their homes. This doesn’t help solve the problem.

“The proposed law does not include solutions for housing or shelter.” Classic Republicans. No solutions. All games.

Bron and raised in phoenix. Moved to peoria recently. I will NEVER go back to Phoenix. The place is a literal dump!!!! California has ruined our beautiful state. I encourage all visitors to stay away from phoenix. Unsafe and dirty!!!! You couldn't pay me to move back

We spend millions on a wall to block people out why don’t we use some of it to shelter people already here? 🤷‍♂️

I think you need to do what we do to Hoarders when they empty their hoard. Divide who's 1. Mentally Ill. 2. Drug addict 3. Genuinely down on their luck & homeless. 4. Special category to treat all our VETERANS. 🤔

These encampments need to be reported? Police, fire, city workers can’t see these along a sidewalk? Wow.

The idea is to drive them to the suburbs? How did that work in Seattle?

Something needs to be done. Our tax dollars are paying for shelters and resources that are not being used.

So you clean it up, where do they go next?

Send them to California, the weather is better 🤡🤡

I hope this law passes 🙏 I hope to see arizona change for the better 💜

About time!

Probably should put the able body ones to work or arrest for trespassing.Meanwhile we have millions of people who want to work and make a future for themselves. So sad that it’s gotten to this point of time

Hope it passes

It's about time. Get this filth off our streets! I'm tired of watching the Walking Dead grift all along I-17 and panhandle for their drug money and then go smoke dope at bus stops, shoot up in parking lots and nod off standing up. I've seen police clearing out encampments.

Why don't they fix the issue with the homeless? I mean, where are they suppose to go? Not enough resources to even put a dent in the homeless population.

California would take them.

should already been done Arizona state penal code have already been violated by the homeless about no camping in the city park & the metro trail network + the state penal of no motor vehicle on the trail that are made for hikers' horseback & cyclists but now you wont to crackdown

Finally

Maybe AZ needs to spend some money on more shelters before this happens 🙄😒

And Katie will veto it See how Dominion and Maricopa County work?

Also a solution would be great as well..
