Powerful hard-liner: Iran should stop honoring nuclear deal

Yet Iran still allows United Nations inspectors to monitor its nuclear sites and hasn’t pushed its enrichment anywhere near weapons-grade levels of 90%. That grants the body, which Kadkhodaei has served on intermittently since 2001, tremendous power in the political life of the Islamic Republic. It has also never allowed a woman to run for president and blocks candidates calling for dramatic changes to the Islamic Republic.

That directly contradicts Rouhani’s position, who earlier this week declared Iran was “proud” of the deal. He tried to lobby hard-liners to back Iran’s staying in the deal by saying that next year, the country would be able to sell and purchase weapons abroad — something the U.S. already fears. Iran insists Fordo was built at such a location to protect it from threatened airstrikes by Israel and the West but that it’s intended only to serve Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

Of course not. Why would Iran be the only one to abide by a treaty that nobody else of the signatories abide by? They should leave the JCPOA and the NPT. Then they should instantly get nukes so that they also can lie about them like Israel do. Israel isn't even part of the NPT.

Indeed, because the other signatories are not abiding by their commitments, so why should Iran keep fully complying to the terms and conditions of that stillborn agreement?

Iranian gov't is killing their citzens.

The only part of the deal they‘abided’ by was accepting 150 billion dollars.

When did they start?

Shame your headline omits any hint of this vital contextual information: 'Abbas Ali Kadkhodaei says that while Iran has “shown a lot of patience,” it has been more than a year since President Donald Trump unilaterally pulled America out of the accord.'

It should. Every country should forget any deals made with the US. We don’t even have a Republican Party anymore, they broke their deal with the American people to pander to Trump. Maybe then people will wake the hell up.
