Power Trip lead singer Riley Gale dead at 34: ‘Larger than life rock star’

In a statement posted to the band's Twitter account Tuesday, the singer's family confirmed the news and revealed that the 34-year-old passed away on Monday night.

Gale's cause of death has not been revealed, and the statement says that"funeral and visitation arrangements are pending.""Riley was a friend, a brother, a son. Riley was both a larger than life rock star and a humble and giving friend," the statement continues."He touched so many lives through his lyrics and through his huge heart. He treated everyone he met as a friend and he always took care of his friends.

"You, the fans, meant so much to him, please know how special you are," Gale's family wrote."If you have a memory of Riley please share it, no matter how small, as we remember him."
