A fire tore through a building in San Francisco's Mission District early Thursday morning, injuring two people and displacing 22.

A fire tore through a building in San Francisco's Mission District early Thursday morning, injuring two people and displacing 22. Thirteen units were severely damaged in the blaze at 3036 16th Street near Mission that firefighters responded to at 12:18 a.m.

At 12:45 a.m., the blaze was elevated to 2 alarms.At 12:45am 2-Alarm declared. 13 units are damage . 22 people have been displaced — 2 smoke inhalation victims taken to hospital for evaluation. At 146 the fire was deemed under control, under investigation.
