While Biden still leads the pack, the latest numbers are a 10-point drop from last month. Harris climbed 9 points and Warren shot up 8 points. Sanders went down 4 points. The CNN Poll was surveyed a random sample 1,613 adults reached on landlines or cell phones by a live interviewer. Of those who responded, 656 were registered Democrats or Democratic-leaning independents.

A pollster for the Biden campaign pushed back on CNN's methodology, tweeting that,"No pollster in America who would do a nationwide poll over a weekend in the Summer and give them to a client with credibility. No week day calling and a paltry sample size. The potential for headlines & news is now driving bad polling practices."Among voters who watched the debate, 41% said Harris had the best performance.
