Roughly one-third of Americans are still worried about their family’s risk of contracting Covid-19, an 11-point drop from September but still well above a summertime low.

Cases and fatalities have decreased since September, but the coronavirus is still killing over 1,000 Americans per day, well above the 213 daily deaths logged in early July, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Plus, new daily infections have plateaued over the last two weeks, and are still up more than sixfold from the pre-delta summertime low.
